The ECBL Is Coming To Sumter SC

The Carolina Rattlers have been added to the ECBL Southern Conference lineup for the 2024 season after a unanimous vote from owners yesterday at the leagues annual meeting. The team will be led by team owner RJ Felder and will be based in Sumter SC. This will be the 1st time the ECBL has been in the Sumter area and the league is happy to be adding another team in the lower part of SC. RJ has previous experience with the ECBL having played with both the Coastal Elite Pirates and the Bishopville Devils. He is currently Assistant Head Coach at Branchville High School and co-owner/founder of the nonprofit organization Parklyfe. The Rattlers already have a team in place and will start playing exhibitions in October as they start preparing for the upcoming season and will be making announcements of upcoming events and tryouts.
