On Sunday June 1st, the Crusaders hosted the Gastonia Snipers of NC. The last time that these two teams met, the game proved to be intense, ending in a close overtime contest. To make matters worse, just 1 day prior to this tip-off, the Crusaders fell short in an overtime loss to Kingdom Life. Going into this game, many were unsure of what to expect from the Crusaders, but it was evident from the jump ball that the Crusaders were on a new mission and would not be deterred from it. The Crusaders came out swinging, ultimately taking a comfortable lead that the Snipers would not recover from, and allowing the Crusaders to find a win in their last home game of the season!
