The DC Heat secured the ECBL Northern Conference Championship with a 118–106 win over the Petersburg Cavaliers on Saturday, June 21. DC jumped out to a 33–16 lead in the first quarter and maintained control the rest of the way, with quarter-by-quarter scoring of 33, 34, 27, and 24. Khory Moore led the Heat with 22 points, followed by Imrie Worley with 18 and Elijah Willis and Myles Lewis each scoring 15. Ricardo Ross added 14 points, Khalil Jabbie chipped in 11, and Marco Haskins and Corey McGhee contributed 8 and 4 points, respectively. The Heat had eight players score and finished with 42 made field goals and 15 three-pointers. Deshaun Morman led the Cavaliers with 23 points, while Isaiah Thompson added 18 and Elijah Moore had 16. With the win, the DC Heat advance to the ECBL Championship game to face the Carolina Thunder.
