August 30th Fort Mill SC - The East Coast Basketball League announce that the NC Coyotes will be returning to the League for the 2026 Season. The NC Coyotes were orginally founded by Reynaldo Espinosa in 2014 before being taken over by his son Robert Espinosa in 2016. The team will now be ran by both Robert Espinosa and Co-Owner Wayne Wooten who ran the UBA Pro-Am for 13 season in the Raleigh-Durham area. This season Wayne Wooten and Robert Espinosa both applied for membership, but having worked with each other for numerous years and with both being in the same area, the two came together and are committed to putting together a championship-caliber team based in Durham, NC. The Coyotes come into the league with a proven record having won titles in the Raleigh ProAm, UBA, BCBL, SCBL, and also have established themselves as one of the region’s most competitive and respected organizations. Robert Espinosa will be playing, while Wayne Wooten will take on coaching duties creating a dynamic model blending leadership on the court, with strategy on the sidelines. The Coyotes will play their home games this upcoming season at Discovery Charter in Durham NC.
