The East Coast Basketball League announced the addition of the Carolina Chosen Lions for the 2026 season. The Carolina Chosen Lions chose to take the 2025 season off with plans to return for 2026 season. Greg Crudup will return as the teams Owner and will also be the teams Head Coach heading into the 2026 season with the team returning to Rocky Mount NC. The Chosen Lions originally joined the ECBL in 2019 and have featured some of the league top players including 2023 League MVP Montrell Williams and Multiple All League Performer Isaiah Alston. Greg Crudup stated he is excited to be back Home in the ECBL and is looking forward to the great competition in the league, and is looking forward to using the platform to help advance his players overseas.
