Winston Renews Rivaly with Coyotes with 122-110 Win
2/24/2026by Antonio Robinson

The Winston-Salem Wolfpack kicked off their first home season opener in style. With a new look but the same winning mindset from before the rebrand, the Wolfpack showed they’re still a team to be reckoned with.

They faced off against the NC Coyotes, a team very familiar with the ECBL, even though they’ve been out of the league for a few years. The Coyotes came out strong, jumping to a 9-point lead in the first quarter. But as the Wolfpack settled in and stopped the early bleeding, they exploded for 39 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime.

Coyotes big man Rico Burris was a force in the paint, doing everything he could to keep his team in the game. He finished with an impressive 33 points and 16 rebounds. Veteran guard Will Griffin chipped in with 20 points. Still, the Wolfpack made it clear, they were protecting their home court.

All-Star point guard Jahlil Rawley put on a show, throwing down five dunks and nearly recording a triple-double with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists. High-flying Niquan Cousins added 17 points and 8 rebounds to help keep the momentum going.

The Coyotes cut the lead to four in the fourth quarter, but Antonio Robinson stepped up in a big moment, knocking down two clutch three-pointers to seal the deal. He finished with 13 points (3-4 from three) and 11 rebounds.

Final score: Wolfpack 122, Coyotes 110.

The Wolfpack will be back home March 7th as they host the Charlotte Blue Jackets.
