The PrimeTime Players delivered an offensive showcase Saturday night, defeating the Carolina Chosen Lions 165-135 at Legion Collegiate Academy in a high-scoring regular season matchup.

PrimeTime wasted no time setting the tone, jumping out to a 40-31 lead after one quarter. Chris Moore, James Richardson, and Cornellius Reynolds each poured in 10 points in the opening frame, spearheading a balanced and aggressive attack that had the Lions on their heels early.

The second quarter proved to be the turning point of the game. Carolina Chosen responded with a strong surge, going on a 10-0 run to take a 41-40 lead. The Lions kept the pressure on, staying within two possessions as the game tightened. With the score tied at 62, momentum appeared up for grabs.

That’s when PrimeTime flipped the switch.

The Players closed the half on a dominant 24-4 run, stretching the lead to 86-66 at the break and regaining full control of the contest. Despite Montrell Williams scoring 14 points in the second quarter to fuel the Lions’ comeback attempt, PrimeTime’s firepower proved too much to contain.

In the second half, the Players continued their offensive rhythm, matching Carolina Chosen point-for-point in the third quarter (34-24 advantage in the period) and closing out the fourth with 45 points to secure the 30-point victory.

James Richardson led all scorers with 46 points, while Chris Moore added 40 and Cornellius Reynolds chipped in 39, giving PrimeTime a trio of 30+ point performers.

Running the show at point guard, Kerigan Farley turned in a complete performance, recording a triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 16 assists — orchestrating the offense and keeping the tempo high throughout the night.

For Carolina Chosen, Montrell Williams finished with 45 points to lead the Lions’ effort, but the early second-quarter surge wasn’t enough to offset PrimeTime’s explosive scoring runs.

With the win, the PrimeTime Players continue to prove they are one of the league’s most dangerous offensive teams, capable of erupting at any moment and overwhelming opponents with depth, pace, and relentless scoring.
