March 7th Charlotte NC - Saturday afternoon Gastonia set the tone early behind a strong opening quarter from Keandre Marion, who scored 12 points in the first quarter to help the Snipers take a 38–35 lead after one against the PrimeTime Players. PrimeTime stayed within striking distance through most of the first half, but Gastonia created separation late in the second quarter. The Snipers closed the half on an 8–0 run, pushing their lead to 70–60 at halftime. The turning point came in the third quarter when the Snipers exploded offensively. Gastonia went on a 12–0 run, extending the lead to 27 points. Juwan Davenport powered the run, scoring 14 points in the third quarter and dominating inside. Gastonia’s offense was firing on all cylinders throughout the game, finishing 65-for-116 from the field (56%) while recording 40 assists as a team.
