April 18th Petersburg VA - The Petersburg Cavaliers delivered a statement performance on Saturday evening, defeating the PrimeTime Players 133–102 at Richard Bland College in a game that showcased their offensive firepower and depth.

The Cavaliers set the tone early in a competitive first half, holding a slim 31–30 lead after the first quarter and extending it to a 58–55 advantage at halftime. From there, Petersburg began to create separation in the third quarter, outscoring PrimeTime 28–22. The game broke wide open in the fourth, where the Cavaliers erupted for 47 points to turn a close contest into a decisive victory.

Petersburg’s offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting an impressive 51.4% from the field as a team. Elijah Moore led the way with 27 points, while Jaleel Nelson added 26 on highly efficient shooting. Greg Spurlock contributed 21 points, and Amir Jackson chipped in 19, as the Cavaliers displayed a balanced scoring attack with multiple players making an impact.

The Cavaliers also controlled the boards and capitalized on key possessions, using their depth to wear down PrimeTime in the second half.

For the PrimeTime Players, Cornellius Reynolds led the way with 28 points and 14 rebounds, while Kendall Wooldridge added 28 points in a strong offensive showing. Chris Moore contributed 17 points, but PrimeTime struggled to keep pace with Petersburg’s explosive fourth quarter.

Petersburg’s ability to elevate their play late and overwhelm opponents continues to separate them as one of the league’s elite teams.

With the win, the Cavaliers become the first team to clinch a playoff spot and improve to 8–0 on the season, while the PrimeTime Players fall to 6–3.
