April 19th Goldsboro NC - The Park City Dreamers closed out a strong weekend with a 109–102 victory over the Goldsboro Wings on Sunday at Spring Creek High School, securing their second win in as many days. With the win, Park City improves to 3–7 on the season, while Goldsboro falls to 3–6.
Goldsboro came out with energy early, building a 26–19 lead after the first quarter and extending it to a 56–45 advantage at halftime. However, the Dreamers flipped the game in the third quarter with a dominant 38-point explosion, outscoring the Wings 38–23 to take control heading into the final period. Park City maintained that momentum in the fourth, matching Goldsboro’s output and sealing the seven-point comeback win.
The Dreamers leaned on a balanced offensive attack, with Chris Knight leading the way with 25 points. Emmanuel Miller (Captain) added 20 points, while Everett Fields Jr. contributed 18. Jr Jenkins chipped in 16 points, and Leroy Butts added 10, helping power a well-rounded scoring effort.
As a team, Park City shot an efficient 44.9% from the field and converted 80% from the free throw line (20-of-25), capitalizing on key opportunities down the stretch. Their third-quarter surge proved to be the difference, shifting the momentum entirely in their favor.
For Goldsboro, Donte Johnson led the way with 21 points and a strong all-around performance, while Kaden Lebray added 26 points. Kristopher Clark contributed 25 points, giving the Wings multiple scoring threats throughout the game. Despite shooting 43.3% from the field and a solid 55% from three-point range, Goldsboro could not recover from the Dreamers’ third-quarter run.
