April 25th Charlotte NC - The PrimeTime Players put together a strong all-around performance Saturday evening at 2nd Ward High School Gymnasium, defeating Kingdom Life Basketball Club 157–133 to improve to 7–3 on the season, while KLBC falls to 4–3.
PrimeTime came out aggressive from the opening tip, pouring in 44 points in both the first and second quarters to take full control early. Their offensive rhythm and pace proved difficult to slow down, as they built a double-digit lead by halftime and maintained it throughout the second half despite a push from Kingdom Life.
A major storyline in this one was the dominant first-half performance from Cornellius Reynolds, who exploded for 31 points and 9 rebounds before the break, setting the tone physically and offensively. He finished with 42 points and 17 rebounds, controlling the interior and providing a consistent scoring presence all game long.
Chris Moore added another strong outing with 28 points, knocking down shots efficiently and helping stretch the floor. Odell Turner contributed 24 points, while Jalin Alexander chipped in 22, giving PrimeTime a balanced scoring attack that kept KLBC on their heels.
As a team, PrimeTime shot an efficient 56.2% from the field and an impressive 54.1% from three-point range, while also moving the ball well with 42 assists. Their ability to generate quality looks and share the basketball was a key factor in the win.
Kingdom Life Basketball Club had solid individual performances but struggled to match PrimeTime’s efficiency. David Pino led KLBC with 29 points, while Duane Goodman added 24. Nas Tyson contributed 17 points, but the team shot just 41.9% from the field and 30.6% from beyond the arc, which made it difficult to keep pace.
PrimeTime’s fast start and consistent offensive execution proved to be the difference, as they continue to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
