April 26th Columbia SC - The Winston-Salem Wolfpack picked up a strong road win on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Carolina Crusaders 119–107 at Heathwood Hall Gymnasium.
Winston-Salem came out aggressive offensively and maintained control throughout much of the contest, finishing with 119 points behind a balanced and efficient attack. Their ability to convert at the free throw line and generate consistent scoring opportunities proved key in securing the double-digit victory.
NiQuan Cousins led the way for the Wolfpack with a dominant 39-point performance, attacking the defense and getting to the line where he went 6-for-7. Jahil Rawley added 25 points, while Tre’ Mclean chipped in 20 points, giving Winston-Salem three players with 20+ on the night.
Carolina Crusaders were led by Eric Eaves, who poured in a team-high 28 points while adding 9 rebounds and 6 assists. TJ Brown contributed 19 points and 10 rebounds, while D’Monte Evans and Landon Harrison each finished with 16 points. Despite the balanced scoring, Carolina struggled from the field overall, shooting just 37.0%.
This victory also marked Winston-Salem’s second win in two days, providing a major boost to their playoff positioning as the regular season winds down. With just four games remaining, the Wolfpack is gaining momentum at the right time.
With the win, Winston-Salem improves to 5-5 on the season, while Carolina falls to 5-4 as both teams continue to battle for positioning heading into the final stretch.
