May 3rd KING, NC — In one of the most entertaining offensive battles of the ECBL weekend, Kingdom Life Basketball Club outlasted the Winston-Salem Wolfpack 118-112 on Sunday afternoon at Southeastern Stokes Middle School. Both teams traded runs throughout the contest, but a dominant second quarter from Kingdom Life ultimately proved to be the difference.

After trailing 28-23 at the end of the opening quarter, Kingdom Life exploded for 39 points in the second period to take control heading into halftime. Winston-Salem continued to fight back behind strong guard play and efficient scoring, but KLBC answered every push down the stretch to secure the six-point victory.

Kingdom Life showcased a balanced offensive attack with four players scoring in double figures. Nas Tyson led the way with a game-high 39 points while adding six rebounds and shooting efficiently from both the field and the free throw line. Jai Rorie added 38 points on an impressive 12-of-19 shooting performance while knocking down six three-pointers. David Pino controlled the paint with 21 points and 16 rebounds, while Duane Goodman contributed 18 points and seven assists in the win.

KLBC shot nearly 50 percent from the field and connected on 14 three-pointers while also dominating the glass with 48 total rebounds.

The Wolfpack kept the pressure on throughout the afternoon behind another huge performance from NiQuan Cousins. Cousins finished with 42 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 13-of-19 from the field. Jahill Rawley added 41 points and 18 rebounds in a dominant inside performance, giving Winston-Salem one of the league’s top scoring duos for the weekend.

Anthony Williams chipped in 19 points while Donte Horton added 16 for the Wolfpack. Winston-Salem finished with 112 points despite shooting just 23.4 percent from three-point range.

Both teams continued to showcase why they remain dangerous offensive teams heading into the final stretch of the ECBL regular season, as the game featured multiple momentum swings, physical play in the paint, and elite individual scoring performances from both sides.
