May 3rd PETERSBURG, VA — The Petersburg Cavaliers continued their dominant 2026 ECBL campaign Sunday evening with a 119-108 victory over the North Carolina Capitals at Richard Bland College.

The Cavaliers came out aggressive early, building a 30-17 lead after the opening quarter and maintaining control throughout most of the contest. Although the Capitals battled back offensively behind several strong individual performances, Petersburg consistently answered with balanced scoring and efficient shooting to secure the win.

Jordan Crump led the Cavaliers with 23 points while also contributing eight assists and five rebounds in a complete floor game. Elijah Moore added 28 points on 13-of-22 shooting, while Gage Yesbeck chipped in 16 points. Greg Spurlock scored 18 points and Keshuan Morgan added another 16 as Petersburg once again showcased one of the league’s deepest offensive attacks.

Ty’rell McMillan filled the stat sheet with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and six steals, helping control the pace on both ends of the floor. Tavon Mealy Sr. also gave the Cavaliers strong production inside with 11 rebounds.

The Capitals were led by Sekou Omar Jabbi, who exploded for a game-high 36 points while knocking down three three-pointers. Dyron Jones added 14 points and seven assists, while Donovan Martin scored 13 points and Xavier Fennell contributed 12.

Despite shooting over 45 percent from the field as a team, the Capitals struggled to slow Petersburg’s offensive rhythm as the Cavaliers shot over 50 percent from the floor and moved the ball effectively throughout the game.

With the win, the Petersburg Cavaliers improve to 10-0 on the season and continue strengthening their hold atop the ECBL standings. The North Carolina Capitals fall to 6-6 as they continue fighting for playoff positioning heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
