May 9th Manassa VA - The Park City Dreamers continued their late-season surge Saturday evening, defeating the Goldsboro Wings 114-111 in a tightly contested ECBL matchup at Potomac Sr. High School.
The victory marks the Dreamers’ fourth consecutive win and improves the team to 5-7 on the season as they currently move into the No. 12 playoff position with just two games remaining on their schedule. After sitting outside the playoff picture earlier in the season, Park City has quickly become one of the hottest teams in the league and appears far from finished heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
Despite the loss, the Goldsboro Wings remain alive in the playoff race at 3-8 and still have an opportunity to make a late push with strong performances over the final three weeks of the ECBL season.

Goldsboro responded with a huge third quarter, erupting for 42 points in the period to erase the deficit and put pressure on the Dreamers entering the fourth. However, Park City answered in the final quarter with timely baskets and key defensive possessions to secure the three-point victory.
The Dreamers finished the game shooting an impressive 57.5% from the field and recorded 25 team assists in the win.

Jr Jenkins added 10 points, while Antonio Warner filled the stat sheet with nine points, seven assists, and three steals. Byron Scriber also contributed with seven points and eight assists in a balanced team effort.
Goldsboro was powered offensively by a pair of 30-point performances from Dy’Quavis Wilkins and Kristopher Clark. Darius Best added 23 points and 11 assists, while Donte Johnson chipped in 18 points in the loss.
The Wings shot over 53% from the field and kept the pressure on until the final moments, but Park City’s balanced scoring and fourth-quarter execution proved to be enough to hold on for the victory.
With the ECBL playoff race tightening entering the final stretch of the season, both teams still have plenty to play for. Park City has positioned itself inside the current playoff field after winning four straight, while Goldsboro will look to keep its postseason hopes alive over the final weeks of the regular season.
