PARK CITY DREAMERS EARN FIRST PLAYOFF BERTH IN FRANCHISE HISTORY

Community-driven professional basketball organization reaches milestone after resilient finish to 2026 season

MANASSAS, Va. (June 8, 2026) — The Park City DREAMERS have earned the first playoff berth in franchise history, marking a significant milestone for the Prince William County-based professional basketball organization and the community that has supported its vision since day one.

The DREAMERS secured their place in the East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) postseason after closing the regular season with five victories in their final six games, overcoming an early-season deficit with disciplined play, resilience, and a renewed commitment to one another.

For Founder and CEO Jeremy Coleman, the playoff appearance represents much more than a place in the standings.

"This moment is about what can happen when people choose to believe in something bigger than themselves," Coleman said. "Our players trusted the process, our coaches poured into these men every day, our volunteers gave their time, our partners invested in our vision, and our fans never stopped believing. This milestone belongs to every person who has been part of this journey."

Founded with a mission to build legacy through basketball, the Park City DREAMERS have positioned themselves as more than a professional basketball franchise. The organization has become a community platform focused on youth development, leadership, mentorship, workforce readiness, and neighborhood engagement throughout Prince William County.

During the 2026 season, the organization hosted several community initiatives, including Youth Empowerment Night, Men's Wellness Night, Cancer Awareness Night, Hunger Relief Night, and the Access for All Charity Game, which raised awareness and support for providing free student physicals for local families.

While the team's postseason qualification is a historic achievement on the court, Coleman believes the organization's greatest victories continue to happen off it.

"Winning games is exciting, but changing lives is our purpose," Coleman said. "Basketball gives us the opportunity to bring people together, create access for young people, strengthen families, and inspire our community. The playoff berth validates the hard work of our players, but our mission has always extended far beyond the final score."

The accomplishment also reflects years of steady organizational growth, fueled by partnerships with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, volunteers, and supporters who have embraced the DREAMERS' vision of using sports as a catalyst for positive community impact.

As the organization prepares for postseason competition, leaders say the focus remains unchanged: competing with excellence while continuing to invest in the communities the franchise serves.

"This is a historic chapter for our organization," Coleman said. "But we don't see this as the destination. We see it as the foundation for what's next. We're just getting started."
