YUME Legacy (Youth Upliftment Mentorship Empowerment) is a 501(c)(3) Youth Empowerment and Community Support Organization that provides invaluable backing to the PARK City DREAMERS. At YUME Legacy, we harness the transformative power of sports as a catalyst for change. The mission of YUME Legacy is to empower the youth and enrich communities by providing access to athletic opportunities, mentorship, and personal development. We cultivate resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills, nurturing a confident generation equipped to overcome challenges. Through our inclusive programs, we celebrate diversity and inspire a legacy of excellence, uplifting individuals and the communities they call home. Together, we are not just building athletes; we are empowering dreamers to turn their aspirations into reality and nurturing champions of character who advocate for positive change.

Park City DREAMERS

The Park City Dreamers are a minor league semi-professional basketball franchise based in Northern Virginia. As part of the East Coast Basketball League's Northwest Division (ECBL), the Dreamers offer young men aged 18 and older opportunities for growth, development, and exposure in sport and life. Supported by YUME Legacy, a youth empowerment and community outreach organization, the Dreamers aim to inspire and uplift the community through basketball.

 

The team plays its home games at the Manassas Park Community Center (MPCC), bringing exciting, electric basketball action to the local area. The Dreamers also emphasize the importance of leadership, fitness,and health, providing valuable lessons to both players and fans.

 

Mission: To empower athletes with the holistic confidence to surpass their limits and dismantle barriers to success.

The Dreamers are committed to cultivating a basketball program that excels both on the court and within the community. Our Vision is to create a family-oriented organization that ignites passion for the sport, fosters personal growth, and empowers local youth through the transformative power of basketball.

DREAMERS Elite Youth Development Program

 

Our youth development program is dedicated to enriching the community by fostering athletic skills, teamwork, and personal growth through basketball-related services. We offer a variety of camps and clinics designed to engage and inspire young athletes, providing them with the tools they need to excel both on and off the court.

 

Our signature PUMA NXTPRO Circuit DREAMERS Elite program stands out as a premier initiative, offering elite training and competitive opportunities that empower youth to reach their full potential. By nurturing talent and promoting positive values, our program contributes to the overall well-being and success of our community.

BE A FOUNTAIN Community Outreach Program

Mission Statement: To serve as an unwavering source of support, renewal, and inspiration within our community. Our mission is to nourish both body and soul, uplift those in need, and foster a spirit of unity and compassion. By providing essential resources, emotional support, and spiritual guidance, we strive to empower individuals and strengthen the bonds that make our community resilient and flourishing.

 

What does being a Fountain in the Community Mean?

To be a fountain in the community means to be a source of continuous support, nourishment, and inspiration for those around you. Just like a fountain provides a steady flow of water, a community fountain offers:

  • Support: Providing help and resources to those in need.
  • Nourishment: Offering not just physical sustenance but also emotional and spiritual care.
  • Inspiration: Motivating others through acts of kindness, leadership, and positive influence.
  • Growth: Encouraging personal and collective growth within the community.

In essence, being a fountain in the community means being a constant and reliable source of good, uplifting those around you and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

 

BE A FOUNTAIN Programs:

  • KID FUEL: Ensuring that the youth in our community have access to nutritious meals that will provide fuel for their mental and physical growth and development.
  • FOUNTAIN of FASHION: Initiative dedicated to providing clothing to children in need. Our mission is to ensure every child has access to clean, well-fitting, and season-appropriate clothing, fostering their confidence, comfort, and well-being.
  • DOING A NEW THANG Spiritual Outreach: A transformative environment based on Isaiah 43:19 that says "See, I am doing a new thing! now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. The outreach provides an avenue where individuals can experience the power of God's love, find support in their spiritual journey, and actively contribute to the well-being of their community.
