The Goldsboro Wings are officially back for Season 2 in the ECBL, tipping off February 2026

 and we’re coming with unfinished business.

The Wings return a strong core of talent, led by ECBL All-Stars Kris Clark (G) and Kaden Lebray (F). With experience, chemistry, and hunger, this group has its sights set on one goal: an ECBL Championship run.

Guiding the team from the sidelines is first-year ECBL Head Coach Ron Cooper, a proven winner with over 40 years of coaching experience. Coach Cooper has led teams at the youth, high school, AAU, and adult levels — winning championships at every stop, including an AAU National Championship. His leadership, discipline, and passion for player development make him the perfect leader for the Wings’ next chapter.

Off the court, Brandon Kornegay (BK) steps into his new role as General Manager. A Goldsboro native, BK brings elite scouting and recruiting expertise, along with deep community ties. After making his professional coaching debut with the Wings in 2024, BK has continued to identify and develop talent to elevate the program. His basketball IQ and local roots make him a key piece in building a championship culture.
